Benefits of Himalayan Shade Grown Coffee

 Taste
As the coffee beans mature more slowly in the shade, natural sugars increase and enhance the flavor of the coffee. Our coffee is filtered and shade grown ARABICA coffee.
 Healthier
Next to tobacco, coffee is sprayed with more chemicals than any other product consumed by humans: Shade grown coffee is most often organically grown, free of chemical use. There is no side effect in our coffee compared to chemically grown coffee.
 Promotes healthy environment
Shade grown coffee required no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The shade trees filter carbon dioxide which cause global warming and aid in soil moisture retention which minimize erosion.
Provides bird habitat and greater biodiversity
Provides habitat for the bird. Destruction of trees and the environment is protected. The birds in turn provide natural insect control with their constant foraging. The nitrogen fixing shade trees also enhance the soil. Increase the fertility in a soil.
 Helps sustain trees and forest
Coffee plantations which are chemically dependent suffer from soil depletion and increased erosion, forest and trees are cut to provide fresh growing ground. Shade coffee farms are, for the most part, organic and sustainable.
 Reverses the trend to chemicals
Shade coffee farms traditionally use little or no chemical fertilizer.

 Rural people income generation
Our shade coffee farm is situate in remote western mountainous region of Nepal. Thus rural people will have opportunity to increase their financial status and employment.
Taste and quality of Himalayan Coffee
Our coffee is different from most of the coffee grown in the world because our coffee is grown at 800m above sea level near the Himalayas with tranquil, cool and fresh breeze that effects dramatically in the taste and quality of our coffee.

The freshness, flavor and aroma cannot be experienced with other coffee.
